Saddened to see the death notice of “L.A.” in the Chicago Tribune on Sunday. I know he was a dear friend of my aunt and uncle (Nunzio and Camille Padavonia) and I too spoke with him many times throughout the years. We can only hope he is in a better place and my aunt had a big dish of home made pasta waiting for him on Sunday.
